Liliana Chenlo for the first time in Portugal, ending her European tour here in Porto!

Liliana Chenlo is a professional dancer. Born in the city of Buenos Aires, she began her career as a tango dancer at the age of 8, learning both roles at the same time. Liliana performs all over Argentina and the world, including China, Hong Kong, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, the United States (Miami, San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Sacramento, New York, Paris, Turkey, Germany, among others!

In 2008, she founded her own tango company in Buenos Aires, “Open Tango”, offering tourists the opportunity to discover and learn tango in a supportive environment without gender-assigned dance roles.

​

Lily is recognized as one of the best female Tango leaders in the world and is the first woman to enter the World Tango Championship as a leader.

​

She was part of the staff of the Orquesta Romántica Milonguera’s vermouth cabaret show at the emblematic Salón Marabu, also dancing in several music videos of the Orquesta Tango Bardo! She was also a judge in several tango competitions in Argentina and the USA. Liliana is the organizer and producer of the Tango Festival “Love is Love” Buenos Aires.
